About Us

Colonial Nursery Inc. is a family business owned and operated by Cliff and Kathy Taylor in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. I learned the flower business at a young age when I would help my parents at their garden shop in New York. We started this company in 1987 with what began as a hobby of one small greenhouse pictured to the right. Since then we have undergone several expansions. In the past we also operated as a landscape and floral company. We just recently sold our landscape division to be managed by a former employee. We are now focused on growing flowers and providing a great customer experience at our centralized shop.

We currently have over 22,000 square feet of greenhouses and grow 18,000+ plants every year! We offer just about any type of plant you’re looking for, from annuals and perennials to trees and shrubs, and everything in-between. We have based our business on great customer satisfaction and consistently selling quality products. Come visit us and let us provide you with everything you need to make your garden beautiful.
